EFT Tapping

Emotional Freedom Techniques  (or  EFT) is an emotional healing technique, based on the principle that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.

Essentially,  EFT is a form of “psychological acupressure” – done by tapping on various body locations while focussing on an issue. The tapping balances the energy meridians that were disrupted when we think about or experience an emotionally disturbing circumstance. Once balanced, the upset is usually resolved – the memory stays but the emotional charge is gone. The result is usually lasting and there are also positive changes in thinking. The technique is easy to learn and ideal for self-help so you can go and practise at home to keep on working on other things.

What I love about EFT

EFT is such a flexible way to fix problems in our lives – we can talk about them for ages, but when we focus on an issue with EFT it can be fun and fast and helps problems more easily and painlessly.  Whether it’s a phobia, addiction, relationship problem or success issue I’m here to help. I qualified in 2018, after starting my EFT studies in 2011, so I’ve worked on my own issues thoroughly.  When we bring in humour to something that seems so serious, it lifts and evaporates so that looking back we even forget the problem used to exist!

People will tell you how you’ve changed and you will feel a greater sense of freedom with your transformations.

I love yoga and meditation – so I find EFT is a great help when things come up in my practise, to ease the healing, and work on what comes to mind.

Situations I’ve seen helped by EFT

Stress and anxiety eased, anger issues resolved or reduced, negative childhood memories improved, better relationships, fear of heights removed, addictions resolved, mental health crises averted, social anxiety cured, fear of spiders banished, sense of belonging improved, more successful attitude to life.
